Relationship Beak

Benni, the Personal

Benni (or Bella) brings the relationship to the other person actively into play – through YOU and WE messages. If he likes you: a smile and a pat on the shoulder. If not: critical comments, dismissive looks.

"You're a good / bad colleague!"

Play recommendations

  • Judge everyone and everything by moral standards and sympathy.
  • Start sentences with "You" or "We".
  • Hold speeches about the team and togetherness.
  • Put people in boxes.
  • Comment on the relationship level instead of the content.
👉 Rule of thumb: Relationship before content. Action before reaction.

Body language

  • Take an upright, present posture.
  • Use your facial expressions actively – frowning, head-shaking, smiling.
  • Use your hands to underline your judgements.
  • Look people directly in the eye.
  • You're fine with closeness when the relationship calls for it.

Signature lines

  • "That's not how we treat each other…"
  • "I find that difficult, because…"
  • "One really should…"
  • "That says a lot about you…"
  • "As ____ we should ____."
